Sometimes I want to pinch myself because I feel so blessed to be able to spend my days searching out beautiful things for my clients. It doesn't matter if I am shopping high end showrooms in cities around the country, or exclusive boutiques, or in my local Homegoods store, beauty can be found in all kinds of places. So, wouldn't you think that at some point I would become immune to being affected by beauty? Or at least not easily impressed? Not so.
Today, I thought I would share with you some things that really caught my eye this week while I was going about my business.
This glass tile stopped me dead in my tracks the other day. I am not usually a big fan of glass tile but this one is really gorgeous. It is so elegant with just the right amount of shimmer. The shape feels fresh and young. I see it on a butler's pantry backsplash or on the sink wall in a master bathroom.
This wallpaper by Katie Ridder is just enchanting! It is whimsically modern but has a bit of a William Morris arts and crafts feel also. It comes in several color ways and I would love to use it in a half bath.
I found this darling lamp at Homegoods and at $34.95, I quickly snatched up the two they had. I love the leaf (leaves are on my brain!!!), the platinum metallic finish and the oval linen shade. This one has found a temporary home on my desk.
Tulips have arrived at my local Fresh Market heralding the arrival of spring here in the south. I love a simple arrangement of one color in a clean glass vase. Beauty doesn't have to be expensive or complicated.
I am also loving antique mirror. I always have but ever since I spied the do it yourself antique mirror kit at Ace Hardware, I can't stop thinking about it and will not get it out of my head until I use it somewhere. Using it in a niche with a buffet in front is a great idea.
This mirrored screen is stunning. This would be a great DIY project.
Love love love this acrylic and gold barstool from Gabby. It also comes in silver leaf. So chic!
That just scratches the surface of things that have caught my eye this week. Beauty is all around us. Let's take time to look and notice today.
